This website enables a hands-on exploration of the Joomla! CMS.  This install includes a set of popular extensions to extend core functionality.  Changes will occur as site additions and modifications are tested for functionality and display  Contact Jackie for login and site use information.

Post v04:  Pending per interest as content removals and additions, layout adjustments, theme, menu, page, module replacements and other items.

Post v03a-b:  Install testing site template to update interface from gold/tan to white/blue color scheme and revised menu layout.  Remove test menu items.  Revise menu names.  Test content layout modifications.  Test email function.  Extend search function to include returns on posted articles and links registered within database.  Test article comment function, troubleshoot layout issues.  Modify primary website with minor layout and color edits.  Use primary site as core feature set contrast to identify issues and resolutions.

Post v02:  Install upgraded testing site template to replace standard interface yet retain extended CMS function set.  Identify display and function incompatibilities evident in article comments, header show/hide states, and other areas.  Troubleshoot via administrator parameter settings.  Identify code-level edit requirements to modify results above standard administrator forms.  Install alternative content layout component to resolve incompatibilities.  Results partially corrected.  Attempt to limit code editing to resolve various issues as incompatible with ease-of-use intent.

Post v01:  Install 2 Joomla CMS sites with extended function package on arranged host.  Test content display and editing, image and video display, sound check, page layouts, and other items.

Pre-Post v00:  Research commercial and opensource CMS options ranging from toolsets to web services.  Concept of use in part for distance communication and interest post and framework for collaboration assistance.  Select Opensource Joomla! CMS for testing due to; relative mature development level, abundant user documentation, sound set of core features, ease to extend, and widely active user community.  Test installs of standard and pre-packaged variations.  Limit testing to WAMP and XAMPP localhost webservers.  Test installs, use, and results of select developer tools for a CMS application.

This site currently combines Seedling's distribution of Joomla.  It is a packaged solution that includes the latest release of Joomla CMS; pre-configured and optimized including a suite of extensions and tools.  In addition a seperate tool is used to change the default style.  Testing of component functionality and placement is currently in progress.
